Is drama narrative? El Gran Teatro del Mundo / This Huge Stage

Is drama narrative?  A much-debated question, going back to the foundational treatise on both narratology and drama, Aristotle’s Poetics.  Doubtless, narrative drama is narrative…. and given that many aspects of narrative are not inherently narrative , but representational, semiotic, textual…. or even dramatic! —one can keep a side glance on drama and theatricality while discussing narrative and narratology.  Here is my blog (or Facebook journal) on drama, theatre, performance, theatricality, the dramatistic nature of the human life and mind, and why not, the narratology of drama:
